Requirements/skills:

Minimum of 3 years experience with building, decks, fences, ponds, laying interlocking brick, retaining walls, grading, soding and plant materials ect.

Ability to lead a crew effectively.

Must be able to read plans and operate all related equipment & tools.

Good problem solving skills.

Excellent communication skills and ability to motivate staff.

Must have valid G drivers license and clean abstract.

Landscape Maintenance Foreperson
Start date: Position Filled
Terms of employment: Seasonal, full time, days and possible over time.

Requirements/skills:

Minimum 3 years experience in landscape maintenance.

Good horticultural knowledge of turf care, annuals, perennials, shrubs and small trees.

Must be able to operate all related equipment and tools. (ex. Tree trimmers, walker ect)

Maintain and repair equipment.

Ability to lead a crew efficiently.

Must have a valid G drivers license and clean abstract.

Landscape Construction Laborers and Landscape Maintenance Laborers
Start date: Spring 2013
Terms of employment: Full time, seasonal, working days.

Requirements/skills:

Minimum 3 years experience in the field or schooling

Strong work ethic and positive attitude

Knowledge of working with the equipment

Must have steels toes safety boots

This is a fast paced work atmosphere, tight deadlines, handling heavy loads and physically demanding.

Some skills would be assist with landscape construction, cutting grass, trim trees and plants, apply fertilizers, Lay sod or seed also planting skills.

Must have valid 'G' drivers license.

Working as a team member or individually.
Sidewalk Snow Plow Operator
Start date:
As soon as possible
Terms of employment: Part time, winter season, nights/days and weekends.

Requirements/skills:

Minimum 3 year experience in field

Must have 'G' license and clean abstract.

Physically demanding, lifting heavy loads.

Clean and maintain sidewalks, streets, roads and public grounds. Spreading sand/salt.

Operate various equipment and maintain equipment. (truck with snow plough)

Good problem solving skills.

Organizational skills, and brief document writing/reading.
